• Roles & responsibilities: clarify expectations for the project team and stakeholder group to ensure alignment. Generate RACI in group setting with project team if possible (see RACI template below)

• Timeline: at the appropriate level of granularity • Critical milestones: key project milestones for the project with a definition on why they are “key” • Project standards, methods & tools: what standards, processes, procedures, regulatory compliances are applicable • Quality plan: summary level of arrangements to ensure expected quality is delivered. • Communication and meeting arrangements: structure for updates, information requests, meetings, reports etc., to ensure project team and stakeholders are aligned. • Document management arrangements: details of how project related documentation will be developed, managed, distributed, made available and handed over • Reporting requirements: linked with communication planning • Training schedule: expectations in relation to availability of resources to transition from project execution phase to operations (good to address this as early as possible to set stakeholder expectations and engagement) • Lessons learned: how will these be reviewed, captured, and acted upon during the project (at a level appropriate to project complexity, impact, and duration). In addition, how will team members review prior projects to learn what went well, what didn’t go well and what were key success factors from those projects that need to be included in the current project. • Success factors: clear definition on how the success of the project will be assessed – critical element for project execution team • Change management: how change on the project will be managed • Structure for resolving issues: discussion on how any conflict issues on the project will be resolved and if necessary escalated • Project expectations and next steps: wrap up and summary of next steps
